- THE ODD BALL
-
-
- THE ODD BALL (TOB) is a twist on an old game that tests your
- logical thinking. Anyone that enjoys a challenge in logic can't
- miss this one. The graphics are great. It is programmed to run
- with EGA/VGA monitor. It may reside on floppy disk or hard disk.
-
- There are twelve balls. One ball is a different weight than the
- other eleven balls (could be lighter or heavier). You are challenged
- to find THE ODD BALL by weighing the balls on a balance scale in as
- few tries as possible. Using skill, it can be done every time in
- three (3) tries. Can you do it?
-
- If after loading the scales, you change your mind, you can clear the
- scales with no penalty and start over. Each time you ask for the
- BALLS to be weighed counts as a round. If you are really good, the
- ODD BALL can be determined in 3 rounds. When you think you know which
- BALL it is, take a shot at a guess. Good luck is great but skill
- is better.'
-
- There is HELP to explain the options at each stage of the game.
-
- OPTIONS:
-
- Select balls -
- Type in the BALL number and press RETURN. The ball will be
- moved to the next place on the scales. The scales must have
- both baskets full (4 BALLS in each basket) before you can
- choose to weigh the BALLS.
-
- Clear scales -
- You may clear the scales and start this round over without
- any penalty.
-
- Weigh the BALLS -
- The scales are ready. This will count as a round.
-
- NoGuess -
- When you are not ready to guess the ODD BALL, start the
- next round.
-
- Guess THE ODD BALL -
- When you think you know which BALL is the ODD BALL, take a
- chance. You might be lucky.
-
- Play Again -
- This will set a new ODD BALL and start the game over.
-
- Answer -
- The ODD BALL answer will be displayed.
